My Edit: Decorex 2017

Decorex kicks off The London Design Festival (LDF) this year, in its 40th year, it is the destination to discover the best products from new, emerging and established design talent. I love going to the design shows during LDF, and London is great place to live to experience maximum exposure. And although I always come away exhausted and with sore feet! It's a chance to discover what's new, and to appreciate great talent and the importance of design in the world... and also to appreciate the huge amount of effort that absolutely everyone involved puts in to bring these events together.

This year I collaborated with Treniq to cover the best of Decorex on their Red Carpet Blogger Programme.
I was invited to join interiors expert Simon Hamilton, who has this year been selected as a brand ambassador for Decorex, on his exclusive walkthrough of the show. It was a unique opportunity to meet the designers and learn about their collections to discover what the design year ahead has in store for us.

Top tips? The urban theme is set to continue into 2018, but with natural influences to bring the outside in and to help make our homes a sanctuary away from the busy outside world. Metallics are still huge and brass and marble are set to stay!
